There is a lot of buzz on the web about google's release of the open source Google Wave. According to the developers it will be the New Email. This post will focus on using Google Wave For Marketing and Blogging.

How to Use Google Wave
If you haven't received an invite yet, go to http://www.wave.google.com and sign up using gmail. You must have a gmail acccount to get wave. Be sure to try to use some form of your name when signing up. This will be very important as you will see later.
This is especially true if you plan to use wave for marketing or blogging. Your google wave address wil be the same as the gmail address you sign up with except for the extention: gmail: yourname@gmail.com wave: yourname@googlewave.com
Here Are some Tips For Using Google Wave For Marketing, Listbuilding, and Blogging.
1. Sign Up For Most All of Google's Products and Applications… Be sure to use the same gmail address you used when you signed up for Wave. This is crucial
2. Here are the Most Important Applications to Sign Up For
Google Friend Connect. Sign up and install this on your blog ASAP
Google Groups
Google Reader
Picasa
Youtube (Google Owns This Too) it also has a social media networking function for your own network where you can invite
friends and build a community
Google Video
Blogger sign up even if you already have a blog. I will be explaining why in a forth coming PDF on Google Wave
Google Docs I wil provide more information on this in another post. VERY IMPORTANT
3. The Most Important Tip…. All of these applications are interconnected using your gmail address.
Example; Everyone who signs up for your Google friend Connect automatically becomes a contact on Google Wave..etc.
4. Google Wave is built on HTML5 app…therefore you can build and edit web pages right inside of Wave…it is copy and paste or drop and drag dead simple. Furthermore, you can use the wave Robots to embed any wave on your blog inside of wave. This Robot is called "bloggy."
This is Huge for building a list of targeted traffic to your blog especially since Google just allowed people to sign up to Google friend Connect with their Twitter account….and also allows them to invite all of their twitter friends to join your blog with one click. By building a Wave Blog inside of google wave, once you use "bloggy" to emded it on a blog….your blog becomes interactive in real time.
